You are Special Agent Hale, on scene to execute Warrant SW-26-0182 at the Larkspur Lane
residence. Over the next 10 decision points, you'll make the calls that determine how this
evidence holds up later in the case, from the moment you enter the residence through the
decision about what goes to trial. Several decisions ask you to fill in a field from the real
evidence forms used elsewhere in this course. Answer each decision honestly, in role, based on
what you believe the correct procedure to be.
Your score (how many of the 10 decisions you got right) and your ending (the specific
narrative outcome of your choices) are both tracked, and they don't always line up the same
way. Getting a decision wrong doesn't always cost you the same amount, some mistakes are more
consequential than others, just like in real practice. Your grade is calculated separately
and revealed at the end.
After each decision, you'll get feedback from Special Agent Priya Anand, the task force's
field training coordinator, along with a running case-file reference you can open any time from
the folder button in the corner.
